Temporary registrations, $7.08 each, are issued for up to 60 days to allow time to complete the paperwork necessary for titling or to allow the purchaser of a vehicle in Rio Blanco County to transport the vehicle to their home outside of the county.
The purchaser must provide the original assigned title or a bill of sale and a registration from the previous owner. Permits cannot be issued to vehicles that are being transported into Rio Blanco County. These must be obtained from the county in which the vehicle is being purchased.
