Clerk & Recorder

Responsibilities

The Clerk and Recorder's Office is responsible for voter registration, the conduct of all primary, general, and November coordinated elections, motor vehicle titling and registration, real estate and other recordings, marriage licenses, liquor licenses, and recording the minutes and the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners, the Board of Equalization, the Board of Human Services and the County Board of Health.

Open records requests (CORA) must be sent to the Clerk & Recorder by mail or can be sent by email.  Send all requests directly to the Clerk & Recorder, not the legal department.
