What is Illegal to take to the landfill?

1. Electronics
   1. Including television sets, central processing units (CPU's), printed circuit boards (PCB's), computer monitors, peripherals, printers, fax machines, laptops and all other computer devices, DVD players, VCRs, radios, stereos, video game consoles and video display devices with viewing screens greater than 4" diagonally.
2. Paint in liquid form
3. Freon-containing appliances
4. Sludge
5. Fluorescent light bulbs
6. Commercial and Vehicle batteries
7. Toxic and Hazardous Wastes
8. Commercially used tires
9. Unopened barrels

For items the landfill can't take, call your local trash hauling company to see if they have alternatives for your waste.
