Budget & Finance

The mission of Budget and Finance is to work with management to prepare an appropriate and fiscally responsible annual budget in compliance with Colorado Revised Statutes Title 29, and to administer the adopted budget accordingly.

County Attorney

The Rio Blanco County Attorney is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners of Rio Blanco County, Colorado (BOCC). The County Attorney represents the Board of County Commissioners. This office also provides legal advice and support to County elected officials and County Department Heads.

Human Resources

The mission of the Human Resources Department is to oversee and administer the county's employee compensation and benefit programs.

Sales & Use Tax

The Rio Blanco County Sales and Use Tax Administration is responsible for administrating and monitoring the countywide sales, use, and lodging taxes.
