Identifying Noxious Weeds
The Rio Blanco County Weed Department can assist you with herbicide recommendations for just about any weed problem you may have. We can also help you to develop a sound Noxious Weed Management Plan to help you be successful in your reaching your weed management goals.
If you have a plant that you are concerned about you may bring that plant in for identification. You must bring in a fresh specimen that contains the entire root crown and above ground portion of the plant. The plant should be placed in a plastic bag with a few drops of water and kept in the refrigerator or a cool spot until you can bring it by the office. The specimen must be in good condition. If I am not in my office please put your name and phone number on the bag and leave it at my door and when I return I will get in touch with you.
