Qualifications/Methods of Registering
Any person desiring to register to vote must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Colorado for 22 days. Voters may register:
  • At a driver's license examination facility
  • At a voter registration agency
  • By mail, email, or fax
  • In person at one of the County Clerk's Offices
  • Online at Go Vote Colorado
  • Via a voter registration drive
The option to register via a voter registration drive closes on the 22nd day prior to any election. A person must register to vote 8 days prior to an election in order to receive a ballot by mail. Ballots may be obtained in-person at the County Clerk's office through Election Day.

Mail-In Registration
Complete the Colorado Voter Registration Form (PDF) and mail to Meeker Office. The forms are also available at the County Clerk Offices, public libraries, schools, and town halls. Forms must be postmarked 8 days prior to an election in order to receive a ballot by mail for that election.

Registration Status
To check on the current status of your voter registration and/or your address of record, please contact our office at 970-878-9460 or check and make changes online at Go Vote Colorado.

If you have moved, changed your name, or wish to change your political party affiliation, please update your voter registration information with the County Clerk prior to 22 days before any election in order to have your ballot automatically mailed to your new address. You may print a Voter Change Form (PDF), complete, and mail it to the County Clerk's office or complete changes online at Go Vote Colorado.
