Rio Blanco County requires truckers carry a valid single-trip or annual transport permit for the movement of extra-legal vehicles or loads, as defined in Colorado Revised Statutes 42-4-502 through 42-4-509, on County Roads.
Please PLAN AHEAD: We will make every effort to issue permits the same day they are requested, but processing may take up to 48 hours.
- Permits are issued Monday through Thursday, in the order they are received.
- Applications received after 3:00 pm may not be processed until the following business day.
- No permits will be issued after 4:00 pm.
