The Human Services Department established Child Support Services by federal and state law to locate non-custodial parents and to obtain from them financial support for their children. Services include:
- Enforcing child support orders and collecting child support payments
- Enforcing medical support orders
- Establishing child support and medical support orders
- Establishing paternity
- Location of non-custodial parents and their assets
