Rio Blanco County Moves to COVID Dial Blue


(March 12, 2021) – Rio Blanco County, CO --- Effective at 6 am MST on Saturday, March 13, Rio Blanco County will move into Colorado COVID Level Blue.

Rio Blanco County Public Health has received confirmation from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) that the County has met the criteria for the change to a less restrictive level.

Public Health Director Alice Harvey reminds residents that “although cases are trending downward, it is important that we do not let our guard down.  Continue to practice personal safety precautions, consider vaccination, and most importantly if you are feeling sick, stay home and get tested”

Public Health will continue to test for COVID-19, vaccinate and contract trace when necessary.  Testing will continue at Public Health in Meeker and Rangely Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10-11 am or by appointment on Tuesdays and Fridays. please call 970-878-9520 in Meeker or 970-878-9525 in Rangely.
